Founders Tavern & Grille

Nice place. Went there for a date with my husband. I wouldn't recommend bringing children there for two reasons: 1) small space which would make a stroller nearly impossible to manuever; 2) very alcohol oriented. We can't wait to go back for another date when it's warmer and we can sit outside. I would love to try one of their specially crafted drinks.

The food was excellent except the cook is heavy on the salt. I had the 3rd Regiment fried chicken meal, and my thigh was somewhat undercooked even though was informed as to why the chicken was still had a little blood coming from the bone. I was assured it was fine and even offered to have another piece recooked, or have my meal change but I didn't make a fuss and ate what I could amd and took it to go. The manager was very accommodating and took the chicken off our bill. We enjoyed our evening but will choose to sit closer to the bar, since our seat was closer to the back door and the kitchen had a door open letting in cold air.

I Love this place. My wife and I eat here all the time. Everything tastes fresh and anything I've ever had on the menu has been top notch. All of the servers are great as well. Highly recommended!

A great spot in the area with some tasty food, but questionable decisions on the menu as well. They have a handful of mixed drinks, but my partner avoids them all.. Can't blame her, they're all wildly sweet! Who wants a terramisu old fashioned? Pumpkin pie martini? She found one... The elder flower old fashioned less the random candy swizzle stick. They had delicious ribs but have removed them from the menu. I like the atmosphere here, and love their crab soup... If they revamped their drink menu and brought in a few more interesting beers on tap, this place would be top notch in the area!

This is our second time here and we love it. The servers are very responsive and quick. The food is wonderfully flavored. My favorite part is the chef is always willing to work with customers. The first time she made is an item off the dinner menu. This time she made us a loaf of dinner bread to help settle our screaming toddler. Couldn't love this place more.
