Small little vegan restaurant with a variety of Asian dishes made completely Vegan and no onion or garlic, which is great. The service is very nice and ordering is easy. Everything is served in to go containers but there are tables so you can eat inside. The salt and pepper tofu was fried very well and the XO Sauce Eggplant was great, although a little too sweet.
I’d return one day to try a few other dishes but it’s a nice healthy option to the Arundel Mills area.
The food here was really yummy. So many good options to choose from. They had a good amount of gluten free options as well. There was a little market to buy things to take home too which I loved. very well priced.
I'm a meat eater and my wife a vegetarian. We tried Cisu once so far and I really liked my Cisu Signature Bowl. Wife thought her tofu dish was too oily (she says that about everything, everywhere). I ate her leftovers.
We both agreed the Fried Tarot app was bland.
Taiwan noodle was good but not as buttery as I was expecting a little bland.
We both agreed the chicken nuggets were probably the best faux chicken nuggets we've ever had.
i was looking to try a new veggie place and came across Cisu so decided to check it out. It’s an Asian-vegetarian restaurant so i ordered the king pao tofu with noodles.
the flavors and portion size of both the tofu and noodles were good - the dish was a little pricey but the flavors of the tofu, the coating on the tofu, and the spiciness were all good
overall a good and flavorful Asian vegetarian meal
The vegan food here is extremely good! I've been to many of Taiwan's amazing vegetarian restaurants, and eating at CiSu conjured up those fond memories. The flavor was just perfectly balanced and had so many layers, and the texture of the mock meats are pretty close to the real thing. I went with my parents who are not vegetarians, but they were very impressed with the food as well. I will definitely be back to try more of the other dishes, they all seem interesting and the price is not bad for the serving sizes too!
