It's a small, family owned, friendly restaurant with mouth watering food. Flounder is great, the shrimp are huge but good, and the Broiled Scallops.... Wow. Their secret family recipe is clearly Old Bay as it is on everything, even the fries. And that is a good thing. Smart to know a great commercial seasoning and take advantage of it. If I have to have something negative it would be that the batter on the fried items was a bit heavy. Perhaps just a personal preference, but I like to have more meat than breading. Overall, a wonderful first time experience.

We had the crab cake First Mate special. 2 crab cakes, 2 sides 24.99. The crab cake was really good, the hush puppies were good and we had a caesar salad which was fresh and we ordered a side of onion rings. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. We enjoyed our meal and would come back. Small spot but good if it is not busy. The staff is friendly and helpful.You pay after you eat if you sit in.

Had 2 Captain Dave's platters for our group. The food is absolutely delicious. The crab cake is the size of a tennis ball, perfectly broiled. The crab ball, size of a golf ball, is fried. They taste better than many other crab cakes I had before. It's a small, casual, but very friendly place.

I was looking for some good seafood on New Years Day and stumbled across this place. The Large Male Crabs were meaty and flavorful! The customer service was nice and inviting even with all my questions. Two thumbs up! Can’t wait to return!
