Expressway Pit Beef

Great food, great staff, and great prices! A great combination. I ordered hot wings, and a half rack combo which comes with fries and 2 sides. I chose their beans and cornbread. The wings were as expected. The ribs were really tender and good. They are wet with the sauce which is on the sweeter side (which I like). The beans was similarly on the sweeter side - but like I said - I like it that way. Fries were good and cornbread just hit the spot. All this and a big fountain coke set me back about $24 and it was a LOT of food. Enough to stretch for two meals.
Mind you, they don't have inside seating but that shouldn't hold you back from giving them a try. In fact, I expect to be regular. The have snowballs too which I'll be trying next.
Worth repeating - the staff is very friendly and polite.

Stopped here after a volunteer event with a friend. Food is served quickly and is priced well. I had the pit beef sandwich (medium rare) meal with an order of fried mushrooms. It was amazing. The counter top dining was just what I needed after revitalizing the community playground. I will definitely drop by again.

This is my favorite Pit Beef Stand. You can stop by for a quick bite to eat on a beautiful day or take on the go. Nothing beats the smoked flavor on Beef, Turkey, and Ham. If you're having a party, stop by and check into getting any celebration catered. Don't forgot to put in your Holiday Fried Turkeys around Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are the Best!
