McDonald's

This McDonald’s was recently renovated so it was closed for a hot minute. The other day I had opportunity to visit this location, which is in the neighborhood I grew up in. I used to ride down there on my bike to get my grandmother a Big Mac whenever she felt like some red meat- she wasn’t allowed to eat red meat as she had advanced in age, but every once in a while, she would cheat and send me to fetch a Big Mac. So I have nostalgic memories of this particular Mickey Dees. It was around 8:30-9 pm or so and they had already shut the doors because of the neighborhood decline, I’m assuming? So no chance to check out the inside during that visit, but since it’s recently undergone a massive overhaul, I’d be willing to bet the inside of this fast food joint is sparkling and shiny. The drive thru lane, long as it was, moved through at a pretty good clip. They’re pros at this location. Food came out exactly as ordered, despite there being specific requests for every item I ordered. No strawberry cream pies though so sadness. The drive thru operator told me it was a seasonal item, strawberry pie, so they only had apple. Funny thing is, I ordered an apple pie at the next McDonald’s and they only had strawberry cream. Go figure. I guess it’s hit or miss as to what pies are available where. Didn’t order a shake so I have no idea if their machine is busted here. They get a full five stars strictly for nostalgia.

Burger was fresh and had not been sitting. Fast service

Good but it runs right through you.

The staff need a better attitude towards the customers. I noticed one lady employee who was professional there. The service was fair.

Breakfast it's always one time in and out is what I love.... get my food and I'm back at work on time
