From someone that loves Iron Age, which is a Korean BBQ spot not far from here, I wanted to check this place out because the hot pot part looked interesting. There are some things i liked, some I didn't. The ordering from a tablet part was an amazing concept. It let the server be more engaging and you got to order at your own pace. The downside to this, is the server's tips are going to suffer tremendously because all they are really doing is checking on your drinks. The hot pot part was a cool experience but I didn't enjoy the food from it all that much. Also wasn't told how long to cook any of the food in the soup so just had to wing it. Would be better with a time chart on how long to cook things. The meat and seafood for the grill part was ok, all the food was pretty average to me. A cool place to check out but will not be returning as I enjoy Iron Age much better for the same amount of money.

Not sure how they do it. The variety of offering is dizzying but our server Benny did a great job explaining the entire process and offering to us. You need a game plan as you have so much going on that you could get lost in the process. Weekdays lunch is 18.99 for either hot pot or bbq. You add $5 if you want to do both. Dinner is 28.99 + $5 for both. Weekend is 28.99 + 5 all day long. We had a party of 7 so with 7 hot pots and 2 bbq grills going, it got a bit hectic and crowded. I would treat the hot pot as a personal side soup and eat a bit of it as you go along. You cook for yourself on the table so expect it going in. No one is cooking for you, which is not a big deal. It is all you can eat with a 2 hour limit but 2 hours is a long time to eat. Also, the portions, as is SOP in most all you can places, gets a bit smaller as time goes on because, well people mostly order with their head without consulting the stomach and end up with a lot of food being thrown away.

Their side and sauce bar has a large variety so as a sauce man, this made me happy. On a side note, the chicken wings were surprising delicious. It reminded me of the old time corner carryout chicken wings of Baltimore way back in the days. Nice batter with a simple salt and pepper seasoning I think. Next time, I will experiment with some different sauces on it, but honestly, it was really good naked. Anyway, I would highly recommend this place. A friend noted that the location in Rockville has gone downhill since it's opening because they wouldn't bring out all the order that you place after the initial couple of rounds. He said he stopped going after 6 times because it got progressively worse. I understand why they do some of it, but it should not be to the point of a customer leaving unsatisfied and unhappy. I kind of saw a bit of it here too but we were still all satisfied. I hope they don't do it to the point that it is really noticeable and disrespectful.

One major tip for now is that they don't have their liquor license yet so you can bring your own beverage. There is a liquor store nearby that you can pickup some soju. We didn't want to waste time going out to shop for soju but if we knew, we would have brought our own gallon size sojus with shot glasses and some rice rice with small brass bowls and had a party. That will be next time.

Best K pot in the area. This location recently opened and everything was on point. Food came out really quickly. Meats were seasoned very well and didn’t taste frozen. They have seating for small and large parties. They feature a very clean sauce and hot food bar. When I went twice within the last month they didn’t have their liquor license. Parking can be limited in the front on the weekends but there’s always spots in the back. Fun place to enjoy either KBBQ or hot pot. Another recommendation is if you plan on going ask to check with the staff where they have limited AC. We sat right by the bathrooms. After we realized there was no ventilation on that side we were drenched in sweat with the hot grill and hot broth boiling.

The food looks really good in the picture but the taste was just alright, not bad but not that great. The thing that they need to improve is ventilation. We came home absolutely smell like the grill. The grill took long time to cook the meat. It was not heat up fast enough so it kinda affected the meat quality because it loses its flavor. No condiments like picked radish like Korean BBQ nearby. Our server Jasmine tried her best to serve us but she walked by to check on us like every 2 min. We appreciate that but just feel like rushed dining. Eat-and-go. Not a chill vibe.

This is a new place that has a soft opening . The inside of this place is gorgeous and fun. There is a buffet bar with a ton of sauce and side options as well as fried chicken, fries and other cold sides. The individual hot pot is so awesome. You choose your own broth. Then choose meats, seafood, tofu, vegetables and noodles you want. Cute place to check out with family and friends and an extensive selection of options!! The staff was very attentive with excellent customer service. Food was great quality and fresh.
