The Big Greek Cafe

We loved our shrimp souvloki, authentic gyro and hercules burger. There is limited seating. Nicely seasoned, our lunches came out hot and timely. Gyros are only $6 on Wednesday. This spot competes favorably with any Greektown restaurant.

Small little place. Food was impressively generous. JD was very kind. Sides with the pastichio were prodigious. Gyros well stuffed. Pita was delightful. Fries nice and crispy.

Great food! Simple Menu with the basics. Chicken tasted like it was prepared on a charcoal grill. Gyro meat was fantastic! Some seating inside but very cozy.

Excellent Greek food, really enjoyed the pistichio, and the red pepper hummus was beyond excellent and both tasted very fresh. My daughter got a Greek bowl with chicken, so good she almost drooled!

NEW TIMONIUM LOCATION. Where do I even start. First off this was a ton of food per the photo below but far beyond volume this was an amazing experience. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to eat my leftovers.

Service:
This was the first time I have ever been here so I was of course taking much longer than normal to order and the staff was incredibly patient and kind. They offered suggestions and answered any questions I had when necessary. All the food they recommended I ordered and it did not disappoint.

Food:
Overall this food is a 10/10. The menu is clear and straight forward. The food was fresh and bright and the meat was tender and juicy. Don’t let this unassuming location fool you this food is top tier. It came out quickly and was very hot.

Atmosphere:
The resturant was very clean and inviting. All you hear is the sizzling of food on the flat top and some super simple no frills decorations. They let the food speak for it self and it speaks pretty loud.
