So I had been to the carryout that had been in this restaurant’s space before. No cheesesteaks here. I opened the door to a comfortable homey spot that has food service on one side and a small gift shop on the other side. The menu changes every week, but keeps the chicken salad on all the time because people love it. I have a bunch of chicken salad at home so I didn’t try it. I did try the Mac and cheese- yum. It was cheesy but still has a some liquid to keep the consistency smooth. I also got cream of crab. They make it spicy and the crab bites are small. To those that don’t want to encounter any crab shells in a product that consists of crab (soup and crab crakes) , I found 2 small shells. I expect that crab products will have shells. This wasn’t a problem for me. I wouldn’t get the soup again because of the smallness of the crab meat. The flavor was good though. The cherry tarts were tender, tart and tasty.
Excellent for breakfast or lunch all homemade meals! The menu changes weekly and there is always something for everyone's taste.
Bought a dessert tray and was not disappointed. Everything in there was delicious, and the staff are friendly.
