They carry Mediterranean spices plus canned and frozen foods.
My favorite store to get many prepared traditional Arabic savory pastries, plus all the ingredients I need for making Arabic foods. It is, hands down, the best place in the whole Central Maryland region for fresh pita bread that passes my squeeze test! There is often fresh kusa — Lebanese summer squash — and they are nice and small, perfect for a dinner party. I am told by the owner that with advance notice, you can order kusa stuffed with a meat-and-rice or vegan filling, ready to heat and serve. The store also has a wide selection of spices, olive oil, tools such as a ma'amoul mold and a kusa corer, pickles and olive oils. Everything a cook needs to make at least Lebanese and Syrian food, and probably any Middle Eastern food.
This is my go to spot for Tahini. I go here specifically for that and always walk out with something new that I have never used before.
Very nice, clean and organized. The store/ variety expanded impressively fast. The prices are more reasonable than most middle eastern stores in the area. The owner (Sami) is a great guy. Very nice and helpful. And as others said, if you’re looking for a particular thing and it’s not there, ask him for it and he will bring it in.
Always very nice when I go there, they have amazing rice, seasonings, utensils, everything. Great place and essential for cooking middle eastern food
