I'm always on the lookout for places I can enjoy the food as much as my non vegetarian husband and friends. The cauliflower wings, veggie burgers (the Impossible burger too!), and nachos have me happily covered! There is a pasta dish with vegetables as well, but I haven't tried it. Staff is always friendly, and it isn't too loud to hold a conversation. Though I haven't been there when a big game is going on.
I definitely checked the reviews before I went and people were saying that the food was great but the service was bad. I did not encounter any bad service at all. The service was great. That whole atmosphere seemed OK. They just need to get some handmade burgers in that joint and less cheese based pasta sauces for people with allergens. Really feel welcome and want to go back I hope that these other people are crazy or give this place another try. It is worth the prices you pay. Lexi was our server and she gets her own 5 stars for excellent Customer Service.
Evening of 2/9 Warm Welcome at entrance and exit. Great food selection! I would suggest ???? strawberry, ???? peach, etc Martinis to be served in a martini glass also. Not one flavor..
Went on a Monday which happened to be a burger special. The service was avg but the burger was great! The wings were pretty good too.
They also have a robust gluten-free menu and other allergens as well. Def recommend if you're into sports bars.
This is one of a chain of restaurants. I've eaten here before, but I don't think I've reviewed it yet.
My wife and I were in the neighborhood to attend her grandson's birthday party. We didn't eat much at the party so we came here for lunch after the party ended. My wife made the birthday cake for her grandson in the shape of the cute dog that her grandson recently acquired. She got lots of compliments on the shape and the taste of the cake, but I'm not reviewing the cake because she only makes cakes for relatives and close friends.
Anyway, back to the Glory Days Grill. Today is a snow day, and lots of places are closed. This place is open and not crowded so even though it's quiet, I can't tell you what the noise level would be on a normal day.
The place is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and not unduly crowded with tables. An interesting amenity that I haven't seen in other restaurants is a gizmo on the table that allows you to tune in the sound from one of the TV sets above the bar.
My wife had a Swiss cheese, grilled mushroom and grilled onion bison burger. She liked it. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with grilled onions and grilled short ribs (without the bones) incorporated into the sandwich. It was excellent. Seasoned fries came with the sandwich, but the fries didn't taste any different to me than ordinary salted fries. I understand that salt is a seasoning, but usually, seasoned fries are seasoned with something added to the salt.
We had excellent service from Bridget, our server and from Devon, the manager. We asked for the news station to be changed from Fox to a news station that we could actually believe was telling us the truth, and they switched over to CNN.
There's free parking out front. I recommend this place.
The owner of the Glory Days Grill thanked me for the review and asked to see a picture of the cake. I understand that the cake wasn't relevant to the review, and it still isn't, but I added a picture of the cake since he asked to see it.
Unfortunately, after adding a picture of the cake four separate times, and having the picture appear to have been successfully uploaded, when I go back to this review later, the picture of the cake is gone. I officially give up on trying to add the picture of the cake to this review.
