This is definitely the real deal! Authentic Chinese food served by welcoming and competent wait staff. This is truly a gem in Towson!

Probably the most authentic Sichuan restaurant you can find in the area. There's always Rockville but why go that far if Red Pepper is nearby? Very quick service, awesome food, great atmosphere. Only issue is the size of their bathroom: if the restaurant is busy you may have to wait since it's one at a time.

Also the 4% credit card charge is no longer there.

Food is great. Dinning room has the best design. Only Chinese restaurant has a grand piano.

Brand new interior and furnishings. They accommodated our toddler with a high chair, sticky mat for the table, and a plastic cup with a lid and drinking straw. Their menu has a lot of pictures which makes ordering easy. Food selection is fairly good, with something for the adventurous eater or the typical Chinese takeout. This place specializes in Szechuan cooking, and the mapo tofu did not disappoint. I didn't feel like dishes were too spicy. Portions were good and the food came out very quickly. I would go back just to try different dishes. Pricing isn't the lowest, but I didn't feel robbed either.
