Their burritos at the Farmer’s Market are usually my go to; however, I decided to try the quesabirria this time around and they didn’t disappoint once again. The flavors of both the tacos and the consume were delicious. Adding a bit of their red and green salsa also enhanced the experience! Paired well with my mango aguafresca. Ambiance is very cute and the service was super friendly! Can’t wait to go back!
My favorite farmers’ market food now in their very own brick and mortar! Thrilled to be able to get my fill outside of Saturday mornings in Waverly or Wednesday evenings in Govans. I tried the huarache because you can only get it at their restaurant and it was delicious! The space was really cute too. Love being able to support Minerva and her team in a new way! We will be back for sure and will have to take a picture of the food before we eat it all. Be sure to get some aguafresca too. It’s a huge serving so if you have any self control you can make it really last. My favorite is the honeydew cucumber lime!
This place just opened in our neighborhood and we really wanted to love it but we have tried it twice and here is our experience:
The people are nice and the service is good, but the food it not quite there, and the prices are too high for the area. $17 for 3 tacos. $8 for a juice. $20 for 3 small sopes that were made with clearly old corn flour with a musty taste, and when they gave us chips and salsa, the salsa was delicious, but the chips were completely coated in oil. We will hold off for a while and hopefully they can update their pricing and work on the food issues. I really hope they do as we would love to have a go-to spot within walking distance and this place has a ton of potential.
Great service and food
Tacos are expensive for what you get. I got the birria tacos and the consomé was half fat, half broth. $17 for 3 tacos from a small new establishment in a residential area is too expensive.
