This was our first order placed at the Perry Hall location. We purchased two of the Game Day Specials.
We have eaten seafood all of our lives and we love chicken wings of all flavors. The platters we received were well organized, everything was there as expected, and it all looked delicious!! The chicken wings, the steamed shrimp with onions, and the pretzel bites were all wonderful. But..... the crab dip , from the first taste , tasted extremely " fishy " . It was an instant turn off ..... it is the worst crab dip we have ever had in our lives. And, considering the cost of crab meat in today's economy, it's a crying shame that this mess came from a famous restaurant such as Pappas and no one wants it and we have no choice but to throw it away in the garbage.
Super good! Cream of crab and medium crab cakes with 2 sides. Also the clam strips were yummy and crunchy!! Definitely will go back!!
Ordered from PSE for the first time. Pickup was simple. Crabcakes were just as good as the ones in the restaurant. Ask them to read back your order. They gave me sweet potato fries instead of macaroni salad. Otherwise, everything was delicious.
This location is carryout only. You can order online but there are no descriptions of the items on the menu -- had no idea what some of the items listed were. The menu is more limited than carryout from the restaurant but the food is the same excellent quality, taste and portion size for much less. The Imperial crab was full of big lumps of real crab and very little filler. The only 'complaint' is the crab dip didn't come with bread or pita or crackers to eat it with. Also didn't get utensils with the order. Not a big deal since I took it home to eat but may be a problem if you are eating on the go.
I had friends in from Virginia and we always go to Pappas Restaurant in Parkville. Instead I suggested we try the new carry out on Belair Road. We ordered both small & medium broiled crab cakes and they were perfection! Not a single shell among them. We also got a side of hush puppies and even my lo-carb friends were indulging! The order was placed in person and was ready in 15 minutes, then delivered to me in my car. The server at the counter, Allison, was polite and friendly, as was the young man that brought the order to my car.
I definitely will be back and do recommend you check them out!
