    First time visiting this restaurant since the previous Mezcal was closed. Unimpressed. Ordered two chicken Chimichangas. Both had large pieces of inedible spice leaves mixed in with the chicken which had to be pulled out. Service was okay. Makes me concerned about the quality of the food if the cook did not remove spice leaves from the mix...

    Honestly pretty mediocre food and service. The drinks are good and worth the price, but the food is expensive for both the quality and quantity. Our waitress was definitely having a bad day. We paid $40+ for two drinks and an appetizer.

    First time coming here, and the service and food were great! The decor really updated the place, making it more modern and elegant. I highly recommend the spicy shrimp tacos and the Baja chicken salad!
