The Original Steaks and Hoagies- Owings Mills

The service was very pleasant and they didn’t mind explaining the different between the cheesesteak. The meat size was plenty and they really have good options from Cajun fries, loaded fries, original steak, chicken steak

Cheesesteaks were great. We had the chicken and the beef. Very filling. Wasn’t a fan of the tots though. Too much cheese? Should have gotten regular fries since the Sunday were so filling

Just walking in, I love the atmosphere of here! The owner comes out himself and welcomes you. Very nice, professional gentleman. He knows what he’s doing around this steak sub quest. Best I’ve had around here in a while! I don’t like a bunch of stuff on my sub, I wanna taste my steak, I don’t even eat the roll at first. His steak is meaty, no flat fake meat here, the taste is out of this world! If you put a bunch of stuff on it you can’t see or touch that fact. I got provolone cheese and some onions and I was good. The fries weren’t much to look at but the taste is full flavored. No cheese whiz here!!!

Update: I should have stayed at the steak shop to eat my food. After going back and looking at my pictures, I must say I did their hoagie no justice in my pictures. When I saw a gentleman in the shop who has his delivered to his table it was spectacular! Mine as fantastical as it tasted we forget things like smellavision and taste truly isn’t a thing by pictures. Trust me you will not go wrong eating here, the closest thing I can say to explain the taste…Capt Harvey’s in Dundalk. The newer generations may not know what I’m talking about but the people from the 70’s & 80’s know what I am saying!

First. Place is new. The customer service was great very courteous young lady took my order that's a plus service for me is EVERYTHING. I ordered a chicken cheese steak with everything and Onion rings it was hot packed everything was chopped up together. It was a little dry not a lot of mayo or grease lol, but that's a small thing and that's healthier. The place is cute neat and clean!!!marble tables. 2 people an employee and later a manager checked to make sure everything was fine soooo Impressive! Morale among employers was good things were being done I was watching. Keep up the good work. Customer Service is key. I'll be back to try the meatball sub. Oh the onion rings were very good!

I got the original. My sub was overflowing with meat. The bread was soft and the meat tender. Loved the whizz! The music was playing today, and I didn’t have to wait too long for my order. Everyone was friendly. I will be back for sure. Try the loaded fries!!!!
