Delicious sandwiches with a cheerful and humorous staff who were prompt and courteous. Will stop in every time we are working in the area or at least sort of close. Well worth a slight detour whenever possible. Thank you very much.

Let me first tell you I consider myself a pit beef connoisseur and I have tried alot of the local beef places around Baltimore from big stores to little shacks. Jake's Grill has the best pit beef in the area hands down. My last visit was at 3:45 pm right before they close, so you know what that USUALLY means. Not this place, the pit beef was spot on. The beef these guys use was cooked to perfection, I ordered medium well and it was the definition of medium well. Not one scrap was left. The beef is a great quality, every night was easy to chew, soft, tender and juicy. I have only had the pit beef and a few chicken wings so I cant comment on everything but they were both spot on. I would imagine everything these guys make is off the hook but I'm so in love with the pit beef I don't think I'll be ordering anything else. Hands down awesome food, awesome people. They cater too so I'm hoping to use them for an upcoming party. Jake's Grill, you guys rock. If you don't believe me, they have a 4.9 rating for a reason, ITS THE TRUTH.

Been to about 60 bbq joints throughout the US. I'll give Jakes #3 best. Prices are extremely great. Keep doing it your way.

Got a pit beef medium and it had a little more fat than I like. Overall it had good flavor and the roll was fresh. I was giving a piece of pecan pie and that had good taste. The guys who work and run the spot care about customer service.
