Nice family style family owned restaurant. Great food with balanced spices and flavors. Reasonably priced. Would recommend to everyone meat and vegetable lovers alike

Right next to a strip club but I still like this spot. Can get pricey but it's worth it. Employees are nice and the food is great.

One of my go-to Thai spots.

I’ve only ever gotten delivery/takeout from Thai Elephant Wok. It has moderately good food, a reasonably extensive menu with standard americanized Thai fare, and decent portion sizes. I especially like their curry puffs (delicious and just spicy enough) and their Singapore noodles. They actually read and fulfill special requests in delivery orders, which is a plus as well.

This small establishment in Downtown Baltimore is truly a hidden gem. The place is very cozy and clean, with really decent service. Despite other reviewers complaining the service is slow, me and my family found it quite speedy. This probably had something to do with the fact that we were one of only two groups there at the time, and on a weekend as well. As for the food, it is surprisingly exceptional, and I really enjoyed the flavors. It was cooked properly, and the presentation was stellar. The staff were amazing and kind, and the artwork and photos inside were nice as well

We actually went here twice, and not for the reasons one may expect. The food was amazing, yes, but on my first visit here I lost my expensive sunglasses, ones which I had for years. I later found out they fell out of my back pocket while I was eating, and I left with out them, only to discover them missing when I got back to the hotel. My family (after calling me careless for half the night, which in all honesty is true), searched all the places we went to the day before with no luck. My dad was insisting that it was probably stolen (they were Ray-Ban glasses, after all) and that I wouldn't be see through them again. I was still persistent, and we went back to Thai Elephant Wok, as it was the last place I remembered having my glasses on my person before heading back to the hotel. When I got there, they were closed, so I called the counter, and a man opened the door. I told him about my predicament, and while he didn't see any glasses or know about the whereabouts of mine, he did happen to know someone who definitely would: His boss. He asked me to wait for 10 minutes, to which I politely said yes and waited. She came faster than that, and I immediately recognized her as the kind woman who served us the day before. It appeared as though she was behind this restaurant, and when I asked her about my glasses, she quickly went behind the counter and handed them to me with a smile!

As it turns out, after I left the other night with out my glasses, she must of had a feeling I would come back, so she kept them in the shop. I profusely thanked her, gave her a hug, and left with my family, all of us grateful. After almost leaving the city without them (it was the day before we went home), I wore my glasses on my face once again. Later that day, we did something nice in return, by patronizing her business when looking for something to eat before heading back to the hotel. The meal this time was just as good, if not greater than the previous, and we had an amazing time. Leaving you with that nice little story, I totally recommend this authentic Thai restaurant, and I am keeping it on my radar whenever I need a bit to eat in Baltimore.
