On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

We stop coming here a while ago but it was national Margarita's day and it was close to us so we came... We quickly remember why we stop coming here. The service is very slow at least at the bar and that's were we usually like to seat. The staff was not that friendly. The atmosphere was nice. We order from the Happy hour menu and one of our items didn't came when we asked the bartender she was like oh they forget it do you still wanted and I had just pay my bill so of course I wanted the item that I already paid for but someone forgot to bring. It was her attitude but after they brought it we were already ready to leave.

I come to On The border just about every Tuesday while on my lunch break, I LOVE the food and the service Christina provided was 10 stars!! She always made me feel welcomed and gave everyone top notch service! She was one of the reasons why I always returned. When she told me she would be leaving soon, I was a little iffy to even return and after the service I received yesterday I WILL NOT be returning any longer. My waitress kept disappearing, had a poor attitude and made me feel like I was a bother to her. My food came out wrong but she didn’t come back to check on me for almost 10-15 minutes so I just took the loss and ate it anyways. Do better ladies!

We were lucky to come on a night when VERY few people were there (just a quick bite to eat before a long trip...), so we got a hot bit of professional attention from servers. The food was served lightning fast and... OMG... I got a fajita dish (that I can't remember a name for), but it had all variety of meats and I dare say it was the best I've had yet! Certainly going back and will update if the experience will change ;)

Wasn't bad but wasn't impressed at all. Mediocre food. I'm not a picky person but I had to get refunded for my fish tacos once because they tasted foul. The portions seemed a little skimpy too and the drinks weren't very strong. Service was fine though and management was accommodating. I'd been willing to give it another shot.

I admit I was a little apprehensive about going to this place after reading the previous reviews. But I’m glad to say that I had a great experience.
The server was very prompt and polite. She was not overly friendly nor brusque in her manner. She was a true professional. Thanks, Kelly!
I ordered The Fiesta Trio with the tortilla soup, chicken fajitas, and the brownie sundae. The order was processed quickly and brought to my table sizzling hot! I was so full from all of it that I couldn’t even finish my dessert.
Definitely going back, especially if they have other great servers.
