Went here for my mom’s birthday in December. She and my dad had already been multiple times, and she’d been raving about it for months, so my husband and I were looking forward to the evening with them.
Overall experience was just okay. After driving around frustratedly looking for parking for 10 minutes, we finally arrived.
We were seated about 30 minutes AFTER our reservation time. The tall brunette woman who was running the host stand was apathetic and dismissive about it. We later learned that she was a manager. Wow!
Our server was great and the food and drinks ranged from good to very good; but looking back, the incident with the so-called manager really cast a negative shadow over the evening.
My husband and I agreed that we’d hesitate to come back based off this first experience, and my mom remains undecided whether she and my dad will return. It’s a shame what one person’s attitude can do.
It is okay. The staff was nice. Prices are fine. I was not enthusiastic with fare, somethings tasted fishy that were not supposed to taste fishy.
I highly recommend this place for a great evening out. My wife and I have been here a few times now and it's always a joy coming. Such a great atmosphere and a very unique layout that gives a different feel depending on where the room you're sitting in. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, not to mention the food is AMAZING (thanks Chef Jason Wolff). We're about 50 minutes away but it's totally worth the drive for a great evening out.
Celebrated a colleague's 21st Birthday here. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food! We had a lovely time!
This is one of my favorite places for breakfast/brunch in all of Baltimore.
1. The food here has always been extraordinary. The coffee and drinks are great too.
2. The decide is cozy yet industrial. Its a very welcoming atmosphere and the layout makes it so sounds doesn't carry much so it's not super echo-y it loud even when crowded.
3. I've never experienced anything but delightful service. The staff has always been a great mixture of both very hospital and down-to-earth/relatable.
4. There's generally not much of a wait because there place is shockingly huge. They can seat so many people. I have had to wait once it twice but it was a short wait and we went at peak brunch time.
Would recommend if you like an elevated American brunch that is still quite affordable.
