Excellent food and excellent service. Plus the atmosphere is prime. It feels like a setting for a Reality TV show in there. I loved it.

Clavel is just about the only genuinely GREAT Mexican restaurant in the Balimore-Washington Metro Area. Having lived out west and been to Mexico myself, I have very high standards for tacos and what have you. Clavel does not disappoint. Everything was delicious and just unique enough to be familiar and yet also spark interest. Service was great, and dessert was good. Would highly recommend.

The food here is delectable! I have eaten every Taco on the menu and they are all amazing! Who knew that two tacos and some guacamole could be so satisfying! I recently tried the Smoky tequila and I was in heaven. The service is great, the food is great, and the atmosphere is awesome. I suggest getting here as soon as they open because they are super busy Thursday through Sunday. The best time that I have found to go is on a Monday evening. There is still a crowd but at least you can get seated in under an hour. Even if you have to wait it is well worth it!

Fantastic spot, lovely ambience, great food, excellent service! Even though they messed up my wife's order, they were gracious enough to give it to her for free! Super nice. The menu is great and has lots of options for vegetarians like myself. I had the tacos without meat and I loved it! Authentic Mexican, meet ambience, and great service! This is a great spot for a date. The space is cool, the staff is super friendly and there's a buzz to the place that makes it feel fun to be in. The drinks were perfect and tacos we ordered were delicious. My favorite was the fish taco but honestly all of the were good. Get there early. By the time we left on a Saturday night they were on a 2 and a half hour wait!
