This is a great location, but with hard to find street parking with meters. I got lucky and got a spot right around the corner, but I had a lunch date, and it was the only one available. So dinner parking would be a scavenger hunt, so arrive early and don't mind walking a block or two. The interior of the restaurant is intriguing and unique, especially the bathroom with photographs lining the walls. I had a shrimp salad and I would say it was good, not the best I've had, but I ate it all, so I enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable and it was nice to visit the infamous Cafe Hon.
Interesting little place. We have party of 7. Couldnt seat us all together. The teen boys were seated 2 tables away from us 4 adults. We adults all ordered sandwiches. 3 were burgers and 1 shrimp salad. We all enjoyed the burgers and sandwich. All were cooked to order. Food was served quickly. Our server checked on us frequently and was ready with drink refills. Overall experience was fine. I would go back again. The teens enjoyed their meal as well. I would recommend this place.
Good food, clean store, eclectic decor.
I had their Hon Burger and mimosas. It was great. The sauce they use on the burger was tasty and differentiated it from others.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we found some behind the restaurant in a hard to see alley way.
