Hamilton Tavern

Excellent food, and a wonderful beer selection. It is an eclectic and quirky environment. I love the bathroom reading and iconic, influential people reflected on the walls.

I thought I rated/reviewed the Tavern earlier, but I don't mind submitting again. Cool place. I went on a Sunday afternoon when the Ravens played the Chargers in the NFL playoffs. Picked that time because I thought it would be in the slow side (they had the game on a couple of TVs at the bar, but this place isn't a sports bar), which would give me a chance to cool at the bar.

Look, if you're not a vegetarian/vegan, you have to get the burger with the grass-fed beef. Get the bacon and egg add-on. Don't mess around. I'm serious. Do as I say on this!

The menu is innovative and tasty. I enjoy the ambiance of this old building and the rustic pub feel. I recently had a pan fried salmon sandwich on a brioche roll and I'm still dreaming about how good it was. Incredibly good homemade chips. Nice drink selection. They are much more than a burger.

Be warned, they only do pasta on Wednesday. Sad. I was hoping for a nice pasta dish. I’m a huge burger guy, so I got a burger and my buddy got a chicken fried sandwich. The chicken was much better than the burger. The burger was under seasoned and rare. I ordered it medium rare, but the patty is so thick that middle was cold and raw. I’d order it at least medium if I were to order again. Fries were excellent and the sauces they gave me for the fries put them over the top. So fun.
The fried chicken sandwich was excellent.
The chips and quest was very good.
