Lovely experience at this place. It was quite busy when we went for a late brunch so we got a spot at the bar. The fried chicken sandwich was really good and the chicken was very tasty but the French toast was the highlight of the meal. It was light and fluffy and had the right amount of sweetness and the vanilla creme anglais added some lovely texture to the dish. Must try, must visit
As soon as you walk in the environment has a southern country house charm with a well curated playlist. The food was delicious! The fish was crispy well seasoned, the grits were flavorful, turkey bacon was on point, the french toast bread was fresh, plantains were soft and sweet, the sauce - amazing. The owner is attentive and diligent. Can't wait to go back and try the lamb... and the banana pudding ????.
My first experience here was amazing. So much so that ive come back on numerous occasions. While the last two visits were very disappointing due to the extremely fast growth of this restaurant, today was awesome. Instead of leaving a negative review when I've been disappointed, i called and spoke with the owner. He told us to leave our names and come on in. Once we arrived he greeted us and sat us almost immediately. Our server was courteous and recognized us from prior visits. This experience was just as wonderful as our very first. Point is. They are a new and rapidly growing business. Be patient and allow them to be great. Keep doing what you're doing home maid. Best wishes.
This small nook of a restaurant serves homemade country style brunch. The restaurant offers a good selection of hearty brunch options and alcohol. It is worth noting that that flow of ordering is different from other places. You must order at the counter then you are seated and the waiter brings you your food. The biscuits are to die for!
Delicious food!! Everyone was really happy. We ate here on accident because the rain drove us inside. It's so warm and cozy and every little detail is thoughtful and pleasing to look at. What a wonderful place! This was for sure our best experience eating out in Baltimore.
