Vito's Pizza

Good food. Great staff

I was already a fan of their pizza, but the other night, I accidentally ordered the Mediterranean without realizing it had anchovies on it. The friendly guy behind the counter let me exchange it for a new pie without anchovies - no questions asked - and he even gave me a free drink. I'm officially a loyal customer for life!

Ordered a chicken parm slice. I was shocked that it was more than $5. Its a larger slice than others in the area but still a little high. The dough was very flavorful but could be a bit thinner. There was a generous portion of mozzarella cheese with less chicken that I would have liked.

Very good pizza and subs. Reasonable prices. Some of the reviews seem to not like Giuseppe, but he has always been really friendly and helpful to me. My family likes Vito's a lot.

Above average neighborhood pizza joint in the York Road corridor. Popular with locals. Can be a bit pricey, but servings are generous. Individual slices are a meal by themselves. Fried food isn't as good - french fries can be flabby and pale. Staff includes some real characters.
