Joe Squared

Came here for the first time and grabbed a seat at the bar with a friend and ordered a few beers. They have a wide variety of beer and thankfully had domestic and the local Natty Boh. The bar is small but intimate. The table seating just beyond the bar is limited but spaced enough for an adequate amount of patrons. The kitchen is just beyond the bathrooms. They fit an awful lot in a small space. One negative point, last night (March 6) it was very cold outside and the door to the venue is about 15 feet from the corner of the bar and the cold wind blew in and forced me to put my jacket back on. They really should have double doors or a rotating door to keep in heat/cool dependent upon the outside weather. Other than that, it was a splendid outing. Topping it off, we attended a local comedy show downstairs and it was seriously one of the best experiences I've had in Baltimore. I don't get here often because I abhor traffic but I may have to come back this way some other time. Great little place that can pack a punch of delight!

Atmosphere looked friendly though we only got take out. There is a parking lot across the street, would recommend calling and asking for directions. We got the large veggie Greek pizza which is thing crust qnd topped with fresh olives, feta, spinach and mozzarella cheese. Indeed, it is a healthy option. We also got the small western fries which I don't recommend taking put because it will get soggy and soft once by the time you open it. Otherwise pizza is real good.

Cool place. Great food. Interesting drinks. Also, there is a comedy show on the first Thursday of the month that is really high quality. Highly recommend.

I was excited to go to Joe Squared for the first time. The inside is much larger than it appears from the outside. The first thing you see is the bar when you walk in.

The menu is well rounded and there are vegan and vegetarian options. I had the white pizza with broccoli and fresh basil and my friend had a salad with a hot sandwich. The smallest pizza claims to feed 1 to 2 people, but it's too small for sharing. The small pizza I had was four square slices and I ate three myself.

Joe Squared has basic pizzas, like white, pepperoni, cheese and veggie. There were two unusual pizzas on the menu that I found to be interesting, but a little out of my comfort range and I wouldn't consider them to be "pizza."

I had high expectations for Joe Squared and was a little disappointed. The food was adequate, but the pizza was overpriced and the options on the menu isn't enticing enough for a return visit.

I highly recommend Joe Squared. Fantastic and friendly service and atmosphere. I went on a Saturday and it was full. The food on the menu reads like the same old American fare, but wait until you taste it! I had a salad with wilted spinach and mushrooms that is memorable with a 3-topping pizza. The salad was a bit too salty, but tasty otherwise. Great artwork hangs on the wall from local artists and the food is locally sourced.
