Food is 4 stars, service and atmosphere are 3 stars. Menu is huge with a good variety, but did not appear to be particularly allergy or diet restriction-friendly. The crab cakes were excellent, as they should be in Maryland. Portions we're enormous. Prices were higher than what I would expect for Baltimore. The signature cocktail was strong, but $15.
Restaurant itself could use an update. Tables, chairs, and carpet are old/outdated. Bathroom was falling apart - soap and towel dispenser we're broken, stall door lock was broken, floor was sticky, etc.
Server was friendly, but ignored us for 20+ min instead of bringing the check when we were ready to leave.
Great seafood at very reasonable price, staff was friendly and welcoming. Service was fast and accurate. The venue itself is worn down and old but everything else makes up for it. Kudos for prompt response. Really like this place.
We LOVE Mo's!!. We discovered this local gem visiting the city from Brooklyn. The happy hour is amazing as well as every food item we've ordered. We highly recommend the buffalo shrimp and the 30 min baked wings off the bar menu. Our bartenders were full of great suggestions, fun banter and we recieved great customer service. Get OVER the decor, loosen up and have fun!! If you go to Vegas and order a signature drink , stop crying when you order a cocktail here. Check out their happy hour if you need a deal!! We will always come to Mo's!!!
Oh my goodness that crab cake was delicious! The service was good. The food was better. The prices are a bit on the higher side. The portions are more that generous, you will leave full. I would recommend getting seated upstairs vs downstairs area that had the bar. The only drawback that I found was the condition of the interior. It could definitely use a remodel. There were dirty and watered ceiling tiles and the bathroom was not inviting. You can’t eat decor so you should still go.
