Just visiting a friend and WOW! Great food, brisket grilled cheese. Good beer selection and crazy bourbons available! Staff and atmosphere is the best

Friendly bartenders.
Good (if not the largest) whiskey selection.
Food tastes OK but the price is good.
Sports bar with an emphasis on whiskey.
Does tend to draw a good amount of frat bros at times.

I recently had to pleasure of dining at Wayward. I had various barbecue dishes, pulled pork etc. served with mac and cheese. The food was good. The atmosphere and the buildout is topnotch and will definitely make you return.

Parking in the area can get a little scarce, with the current construction to the Cross St Market, but it's still a great place. The food is familiar but totally original. If you want to try something different, but you hate TOO much change, this is a great place to try one night (lunch is good too).
