La Folie Steak Frites

Amazing brunch spot!! Also love the wine and atmosphere! The owner is super friendly, and they have great staff and service!!

The food here was pretty good and the server Nancy was so warm and friendly and made me feel quite welcome. The manager/owner however stopped at every table, smiling and talking to guests, but never one time stopped or asked me anything. He never even made eye contact. I dine out on an average of three to four times a week, and i can honestly say, that I have never felt so ignored in any establishment. I am sure that it does not matter to him, but I will never return or recommend them for our group.

Great atmosphere, amazing food and bottomless bubbles! My husband and I shared the baked Brie which was amazing!!! Then my husband had the provincial mussels and I had the bleu mussels. Food was to die for! The service and hospitality was incredible. I hope to come back again when I am in town.

We went to La Folie Steak Frites on Saturday night and had a delicious dinner; we started with the escargot and they were delicious - the garlic bread that accompanied the snails was also very enjoyable. We had a very fresh garden salad and the squash soap was particularly good. We both had steak and fries and my hanger style steak was tender and I very much enjoyed the accompanying sauce. My sweetheart enjoyed his NY strip steak very much and we both liked the frites. The wine selection was good and it was an overall great experience. The ambience is lovely and the restaurant is decorated simply and with French style!

I really enjoyed their escargot, mussels and onion soup. I just wish their fries were thicker instead of pencil thin. While mussels are good their full pot seems smaller than what I remember living overseas. But overall this is a great place especially if you like French food.
