Yama Sushi Bar

Really good sushi, and not too expensive either. Their lunch special is great, I got to pick 3 sushi rolls served with soup and salad for $11.00. Great lunch spot!

Only sushi place I go to. Quality is good and always consistent. People are kind and make you feel welcome. The food is delicious!!

An unbeatable sushi place! Everything is absolutely perfect about Yama, the sushi prices, the salads, the quality and freshness of the ingredients, and of course the staff. They always have little surprise “on the house” sushi plates if you order more than a certain amount, and they finish off with little pieces of cheesecake and special gum. Highly recommended!!

The prices were reasonable, the portions were good, and the service was great. They had no problem splitting the check for a large party and even provided us with a bonus free special roll. I would definitely suggest their special rolls as the only thing a bit disappointing there was their california roll as it was a bit bland. Everything else was amazing though so I'd just avoid that. It's also nice to have a parking lot so that was great.

I have now been going to Yama for over 5 years. It is tied for the best sushi in the entire city (Sushi Bruce in fed hill being the other). Beyond this, the staff is wonderful, and they often give free rolls to returning customers. Plus, they just did a nice little renovation in the restaurant. I will frequently go out of my way just to make it to Yama or to pick it up for takeout.
