Picture this: Wide metal dining counters along the walls. White tiled walls. Stools along the perimeter. Tight quarters - very intimate. Urban music playing in the background. Young and old people of all races being friendly with each other and loving this place. Popular with millennials. It's great! We ordered the Fried Broccoli Side Salad, Tofu Nuggets, and The Original (bun) and loved all of them. Spicy, sweet, and tasty. This place deserves a visit at least weekly.
This place was a great find. It is one of those hole in the wall places. The tempura battered brocolli was amazing, the citrus salad and herbs served with it was delicious. The lentils on the side were good too. Only reason I gave 1 star less than 5 was because the chicken get soggy fast, which I had to take home because of lack of seating.
Only the most amazing place ever! Awesome staff, too. Oh yeah... The food. Food is awesome
The food was good. The "mild" was still a little spicy. They use chicken thigh which I'm not a huge fan of as it is more fatty but it was still tasty. I like the simplicity of the menu and that they have Thai tea. The staff is also friendly. My only real complaint would be the size of the place as there wasn't much room but other than that it is was an enjoyable meal.
This food was magical. Crispy juicy fried chicken. Super flavorful with a little heat thanks to the Berbere, an Ethiopian spice, added to the seasoning. I loved everything! The rice, the pickled veggies, the soft and light steamed bun! It was one of the best meals I've ever had.
