Blakes Crab House

Brought a half bushel of crabs they were great and some corn. Corn appeared to be over cooked but crabs were awesome.

I go to Blake's every time my family has a cookout. Gotta have those well seasoned Maryland blue crabs. I always get the jumbo male/female combo half bushel. I hear a lot of people complain about them being out of crabs. My suggestion to them, get there early, get your spot in line and have some patience . I see it like this, if they're always out of crabs, people must love their crabs. Think about that.

This was my second time there. The first time, a few weeks ago, was great. Sweet heavy, delicious crabs. This time - not so much. I got a dozen large males for $50. The crabs were much smaller, and also much lighter than the last time. I know they are gulf coast crabs this time of year, but they were last time I wet also. They should have been honest when I ordered them and told me they aren't all that this week. Or maybe thrown in a few extra. Either way, I don't feel like I got my money's worth. Now I will probably just wait till spring to get crabs again, and then I will most likely go somewhere else.

Get crabs here whenever I'm in the area. Large crabs were smaller then I've gotten in the past, but had good weight. Moved from Long Island to Delaware last year & still drive to Blakes

Blakes Crab House is one of my favorite Crab houses. The Crabs are always ready, hot, & very tasty. The price is always reasonable. You can't bet buy a dozen get 1/2 dozen free. They are worth the price without the 1/2 dozen free.
