This place was fantastic. Delicious food, good atmosphere, quiet enough to have a conversation, and wonderful service. Our server gave us great tips on what was good on the menu based on what we like, and she had good wine suggestions as well. Speaking of wine...she got me the wrong glass of red wine. She caught her own mistake, and came back to the table to ask if I'd like to switch it out. I told her it was fine, and that I would drink this glass. No worries. She ended up taking it off the bill entirely anyway. It's a small thing, but I appreciated it.
Quick tip: Get the bread served with slow roasted garlic and house-made ricotta. It's a very simple dish, but incredibly delicious.
Very trendy restaurant in trendy Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore. Food excellent. Give your self time to find parking.
The beef steak was prepared perfectly. The cut itself was too tough and chewy. Pork neck melted in my mouth, and was the perfect texture. Bone marrow was my favorite because of the resourcefulness of the ingredients and the quality of the preparation and taste. This restaurant really surprised me with the crisp oysters. I know myself to be someone who will eat anything but oyster (I despise the odor and texture), but they proved me wrong and I absolutely adored the dish! There was no odor and the morsel was crisp on the outside while managing to still be delectably soft on the inside. Love this restaurant. Will come again.
Great food, great service, wonderful night. Can't wait to go back. Mushrooms they have are incredible. Had the shroom risotto. Would get it everytime.
Best food in hampden... good prices... love the portion size and interesting dishes. Menu is small, but it is constantly changing, so everytime I visit there a new dishes to try. I have never had a bad dish from them! Clearly the chef/ owner puts in a lot of work and takes pride in every dish they send out! Will be back!!!
