Wonderful food and fantastic ambiance. Perfect for both family meals and first dates. The decor is impeccable and so is the food. I hope the excellence will continue! This is a wonderful addition to the Mt Vernon Bolton Hill area. If you like Magdalena or Bottega you will love Cookhouse.

Charming neighborhood gem. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the space and a lot of care into the food. Despite having only recently opened, it was bustling. Cozy bar too.

Man, this place is gorgeous! Had an amazing dinner here. The menu is is a combination of favorites, done to perfection (crab cakes, perfect roasted chicken, and a burger) and some dishes i have never seen (lamb shank pot pie, chicken mousse, and a delicious sole dish, just to name a few.) We had a reservation, which i recommend during peak hours, but i also noticed a good amount of walk ins.

I’m smitten over this stunning new spot in Bolton! It has ambiance for days, killer good cocktails and a perfectly concise menu. Exactly what the neighborhood needed... ???? I ordered the burger, which was excellent, and enjoyed a fun conversation with the bar staff over a surprisingly good playlist (someone there has great taste in tunes). Planning to make a reservation and return with my wife for the full dining experience.

Wonderful evening last night at Cookhouse. Delicious food - the pate was TO DIE FOR, as was the lamb-shank pie (that pastry, that gravy, the sweet vegetables and the tender lamb). Can't wait to try the crab-cakes and sole next time. Their burger looks amazing too. Make sure to leave room for desert - I had the sticky toffee which was amazing (sticky gingery cake, with delicious toffee sauce, and piles of whipped cream). The place is beautiful, the service friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. I can't wait to go back. (And this was all the more amazing as it was their opening night - you never would have known, as everything was perfect). Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. LOVE.
