Pi day so gotta have DD pie. It was hopping for 11am. The guy who waited on me was patient and kind. Totaled everyone’s orders in his head before ringing it up seemingly to improve efficiency. 3 slices, 3 happy family members. See ya next 3/14...or sooner.
I thought I didn't like quiche (had a few bland ones and thought the whole idea of them was overrated)... Then I tried one here... It was DELICIOUS (dangerously? perhaps). I've been craving another slice ever since. I think the flavor I had was called the cowboy or something. It was the perfectly flavorful and creamy, artery clogging goodness I wanted in a quiche.... Also, the side salad was a nice counter balance.
I'm not a big fan of sweet pies, but for what it's worth, I ate some of the crust from my friend's blueberry-banana-pancake pie and it was quite good. I couldn't bear a whole slice, but the bites I had went well with coffee. Tasted just like a pancake.
Also, the guy working the counter was great. Very cool, but not at all pretentious. He put whipped cream on our coffees
Delicious pie, both sweet and savory, in a cute little cafe.
Definitely dangerously delicious. We tried the banana chocolate chip pancake and lemon chess pies. They were both great! The crust is good, and not what I expected. A big thumbs up.
