Dear Charles

I came here on Wednesday for a date night and loved everything about Dear Charles. I can tell it’s going to be the new hot spot in charles village they’ve only been open for about a month yet everything was on point. Drinks were amazing and the food was delish I highly recommend the salmon. Rachel was great. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and had a very warm inviting energy. From beginning to end it was a great experience and i can’t wait to come back

Great find! Had the salmon and the crab cake. Everything was cooked as requested and both were delicious! Drinks/service and atmosphere were all spot on! Will certainly be back!

My husband and I made reservations at Dear Charles for Valentine's Day. We ordered the Chicken and Vegetable soup, Chop Salad, Sweet and Savory Meatballs, Shrimp Cocktail and Linguini and Clams. Everything was absolutely amazing. My ultimate favorite was the Sweet and Savory Meatballs. I really wanted the Apple Cobbler even after all this food but sadly they were out. Maybe next time.

My third time here. This time, they nailed it! Order the mussels. Perfect cooked. Butter sauce was excellent. Would have been superb with more garlic,

More folks need to know about this brand new place! I found them open for breakfast on Saturday morning, nice to have a good hot breakfast option in this neighborhood (not to diss Tamber's though). Had truly one of the best omelettes I ever had out in a long time--nice fluffy egg, cooked just right, gorgeous filling of sauteed mushrooms and sweet cherry tomatoes. Hash browns had great texture but needed more seasoning. Coffee was strong and good, though no free refills.

Moreover, staff very friendly--mind you I sadly was perhaps the only guest, but I hope that changes. I think one of the people who spoke to me was an owner and manager and she was professional and friendly. Waiter was attentive. I will be sure to check them out for lunch and dinner.
