Came from Chicago and was one of my favorite places!!! Staff is so friendly!! Nick, Seamus, and Joe gave us amazing recs and were quite hilarious. If you’re lucky enough to get hit w a champagne cork like us, you make get some free drinks!!!
I went here after work for a drink. Service was good. Atmosphere is amazing! (It’s right on the water “drifting” behind the building that was the Lighthouse restaurant/Tiki bar).
Why 3 stars? The drinks were meh. I ordered a lemon crush (a classic drink that everywhere around here should be able to make well) and there wasn’t even a hint of real lemon in it.
This spot is okay, and I’ll try it again as I’m sure they’re working through some kinks as they’re newly opened. Views and vibes are lovely, staff is friendly, but the menu is off for the atmosphere. Just make sure to have your expectations set with the QR experience, the included 18% gratuity, and then an additional default gratuity you have to manually override for drink drop off service. I did get water with my drink, but no one refilled it on a very hot and sunny day. Would be a great happy hour spot, esp with a larger group since the QR ordering and payment is easy, but they need more apps at a $8-$14 price point, the menu is a bit all over the place for the venue. Hope they continue to make some adjustments (like a self-serve water tap if they’re not going to check on you after dropping off your order). $14 for a frozen “boat drink” felt reasonable to me for the atmosphere.
I had an amazing time at Drift Bar! The cocktails, view, and service was amazing! The prices were also very reasonable.
Kelsey checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed! She also recommended the Coconut Mojito which was divine!
I’ve found a new favorite spot in Baltimore and 10/10 recommend!
I visited Drift Bar today and gave the food 3 stars, ambiance 5 stars, and service 5 stars. That averaged out to be a 4.3, which is why my overall score is a 4. My friend wanted to give it a 3, but based on the beta opinions on reviews in Google, I decided to average it.
The grilled shrimp was absolutely delicious and I would definitely order it again. The sliders (which looked like 3 almost normal sized burgers which threw me off because I expected them to be smaller), were okay. With a little bit more seasoning, they’d be better. We got a frose and Tito’s with tonic water and lemon juice. They were pretty good. I will say though the frose could have potentially better if a better red wine blend was used.
The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. It’s right on the docks and I really felt like I could sit there for a while just relaxing. The service was also really great. We got there a little after 4 pm on a Wednesday, so they weren’t too busy, but they started getting busier after we left. Several people checked on us, offered to help us with the menu, and were overall really attentive from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. Parking is also free for two hours if your ticket gets validated which is amazing!
I think if you’re looking for a good-chill vibe really want to get drinks and something light to eat, this would be a nice place to go to.
