We love this new Govans addition! Great beer and cocktail selection, amazing meats that aren’t greasy or make you feel really heavy! Love that the menu changes daily. Chocolate cake is a must!

Great food. As others have said, they aren’t sauce heavy but the food is juicy and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you’re a fan of rum, their selection is one of the best in Baltimore. If you’re not, they have plenty of beer and wine as well.

Best dessert I’ve ever had. Coconut cream pie is to die for!! The Mac and cheese is my favorite side. Everything is homemade and delicious :)

Quality over quantity here. And not a BBQ place focused on sauce, this is the meat, smoke and a rub. I tried a variety: mac n cheese, pork, kielbasa and chicken, all of it with/without the accompanying condiments were delightfully delicious. But the price could make one hesitate due to the portions. Though as 1 person I easily can make 2 meals out of the 1 link, 1-5inch cut of pork and a chicken thigh/drum and side. So roughly $25/person for a comfortably full belly. Chicken was reminiscent of Chicken Rico with whatever the white condiment is and the mac needed a pinch more salt to really bring out the depth of flavor. I wholeheartedly wish the visible staff had more cultural/racial diversity...it's a blatant addition to the gentrification of Govans. Not a bad first impression for my tastebuds. I'd consider visiting again though dessert does not seem to be their forte. It's worth the flavorful experience overall.

We love Heritage Smokehouse! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It’s a bbq place that doesn’t leave you feeling uncomfortably full, which has to be experienced to be believed! My fiancé and I loved the ambiance and see ourselves returning again and again to try the specials. The spicy pickles are a real treat!
