As a local resident, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the opening of this place for months. We made reservations for opening night, and had somewhat of a roller coaster experience. Let’s start with the greats: the gin cocktail and the gnocchi both firmly fall in 9+ territory. The appetizers, bruschetta and mozzarella were both solid 8’s - though the server misheard us when we asked for the eggplant app, and brought us the wrong apps - no harm, no foul though. This place was really living up to the hype. Then the server (who was really nice) recommended some custom changes to the Orecchiette - and given the previous slam dunks - we went with it his suggestions. Bad move. The broccoli was extremely bitter, damaging the entire dish - and we actually couldn’t eat it. With such an enthusiastic recommendation, unfortunately, two of us got the dish. Needless to say, that sort of tainted the entire experience for us, and so our first run here was a 3.5. We’ll be back again, as this place does have 5 star potential - and we can chalk this up to opening night.
Would easily recommend this to anyone, for any occasion. Food, service and drinks were top notch and in such a prime location. Glad Baltimore is getting more establishments like Limoncello.
My fiancé and I tried Limoncello on their opening night in Baltimore. We had nothing but a pleasant experience. Our waiter, Willy, helped to add to the positive experience...he was extremely personable, relatable and made us feel welcome from the minute we got there. We ordered a bottle of red wine, the meatball appetizer and the Orecchiette pasta and Clam Linguine. Everything we had was delicious & filling! Highly recommended!
My wife Kris and I attended the soft opening this past Wednesday. The restaurant is elegant and we liked the "Ciao" lighted sign on the ceiling. We were warmly received and enjoyed an over the top meal and personalized service. For those looking for a change from traditional Little Italy, Limoncello is the place to go!
Beautiful restaurant and incredible Amalfi Coast inspired Italian food. Indoor / outdoor bar with spectacular harbor and skyline views. Easy garage parking. Setting the new standard for Italian food and drink in Bmore.
