Ordered this randomly on a Saturday night when I had no idea what I wanted to eat. The food was AMAZING. The cheese grits were warm and full of flavor. The fish was a bit soft for my liking, but still good. My man had the crab cake + fries and he ate the entire thing. So glad I found this spot, thank you! We’ll be ordering again, guaranteed.
Just got lunch delivered from The Crestlyn Kitchen. The food was delicious. I ordered the fish and chicken tender combo. The fish was good but the chicken tenders were absolutely amazing! My son and I were fighting over the last piece of chicken.
I’ve been there many times. Service is friendly and the food is good. Way better than most take out places. It’s Black owned and honestly the customer service is good. Had one issue with my food after multiple times of having great experiences and the owner himself handled it quickly. Looking forward to going back.
Met one of the owners on a dog walk and he convinced me to give them a try. Had some friends over on the back deck for a Covid friendly dinner. Shared the wings, fried shrimp/fish and also the huge burger. I am not from Baltimore so the fried shrimp/fish are good, but I come from a up north so grew up on different style. My buddies stated they were on point for Maryland. The wings are also huge and with the mambo sauce perfect. But, the burger was the star, well burgers. Perfectly cooked medium rare, the bun held up to the juicy burger. I will be back, but will have to space it out to 2-3 times a month or my doctor will kill me. The two owners are friendly and welcoming. If you are anywhere near 33rd st and Loch Raven or Cold Spring and La Alameda make your way to Crestlyn ave, it is worth it.
The place is fabulous. When you are greeted by the smell of good food and a sense of home. The service was outstanding and the food absolutely delicious. I will absolutely come back for more. Try the crab cakes. They are awesome.
