The LVH by Taste This

Experienced this place during a good friends birthday party this weekend. I didn't sit down and try all the wonderful looking dishes that came pass us during their normal dinner service but the staff here are true professionals! The hospitality was top notch and would just recommend this place just for that. Definitely coming back to try their food.

Nice lounge, great service, live music, and good food. I called to inquire about reservations and spoke with Tamecka who was very pleasant. She even called back to let me know about the live Jazz ending earlier than she thought. We arrived earlier than expected, was able to hear a few songs and served by Amber. I noticed everyone was very attentive and making sure you service was excellent. Definitely would go again!

My husband, another couple and myself had dinner there last night. We enjoyed our experience and the food was delicious. I’m sorry I don’t remember the young man’s name that was our waiter, but he did an excellence job. He gave us a tour of the restaurant upstairs and let us know about jazz on Saturday and karaoke on Thursday night.

Yep! We loved it. My husband and I stopped in on a whim and spent a delightful hour and a half on a Friday evening. There were so many delicious possibilities (seafood, lamb, beef, sides, drinks, and desserts) we had to confer with our server, who graciously explained the menu. We decided on fried catfish and a baked potato stuffed with seafood (supposedly a small plate, but with very, very large portions). Both were delicious. There was a steady stream of diners who ranged from singletons to families with children, all easily accommodated. With a bar downstairs, and a second dining area (upstairs), The LVH is a cozy neighborhood restaurant, with highly competent servers who appear to enjoy working there. We'll be back.

My husband and I are so happy that we can walk 3 mins from our house to LVH. Taste This is now our "GO TO". It's great not to have to drive to eat commercialize food. Taste this has a very eclectic menu; the lamb chops are "BEYOND!", I'm doing the Red Snapper the next visit. I also have to give a review of one server that we absolutely adore. Allegra is an amazing server. She is professional, poised, and attentive. She reminds us of the service that we receive abroad and we want the owners to know that she is truly a pleasure. Thus far, all of the staff; are friendly, lively and top notch. We plan on bringing any guests that visit us to LVH. We welcome them to our neighborhood with wide arms and appetites longing for a taste bud party. Hats Off to the chefs at LVH. I wish I could leave 10 stars.
