Calvert Crabs & Seafood

Met one of the owners at the register she was very pleasant. My food was sooooo good. I had the mini platter with fried rockfish, clams, shrimp, oysters, hush puppies and fries. The clams were overly chewy almost as of they were fried twice but other than that everything in the platter was tasty and hot. The cocktail sauce was so tasty, just give me a straw!!????My son got the steamed shrimp(I stole one) that was so good perfectly steamed. Now the only things I didn’t enjoy and this was just my opinion. The Mac and cheese had no flavor it tasted like just perfectly boiled noodles hardly any cheese sauce so I wouldn’t get that as I side choice personally. The service and the other food was good. I can deal with a hit and miss with certain sides it’s a part of learning what you like. Would visit again and again. Just wouldn’t get the fried clams or Mac again! Oh....and I got a side of crab balls they were really good and not greasy at all! Try em’

The lunch specials are delicious and quite reasonably priced for seafood- there have been $10 deals throughout November and December, for example. Taco Tuesday ($2.50 per taco) is also a great idea. Service is quick and friendly. My only criticism is that there might be more seafood included in each dish. 9/10 would absolutely recommend.

First time having a crab feet in 15 years. It was amazing. True Maryland Blue Crabs for the first time, I loved it ! The seasoning and the size of the crabs authentic. I loved the experience. ????
