Boxcar Avenue Ice Cream

Good ice cream and shakes, some of the food is good, i don't liked the sandwiches/ cheese steak specific.
Great customer service and overall a good place to shop for food. Parking is limited but i like walking so that's not a problem for me but maybe for elderly and handicap might be an issue. Great location for tourist, right by the pier!

Great little hidden gem that has fast service with good ice cream and food. Indoor and outdoor seating options for when you get your food from the walk up windows. Overall great experience, highly recommended!

I didn’t even get the chance to take a pic of my ice cream cause…gulp gone! I don’t eat ice cream all the time but when I do I seek out a good place where if you choose to indulge you do so with no regrets. This is that type of place. I’m house sitting in Perryville and it’s not often as I mentioned that the urge for ice cream hits me, but wow. I’ll be swinging by her again today, and I’ll definitely update with a pic. The prices are fabulous too! Quality and quantity you get both here at Boxcar. Enjoy, I know I will.
Update: added photos and added more yummy ice cream to my belly. Peanut butter sundae with wet nuts! Yummy! Friend had the orange gelato.

Only place I eat ice cream and let’s face it I drive the 45 minutes to visit. Best tots in the world. Best ice cream around.

Such a great, little, local place. Their ice cream is top notch. The venue is relaxing and low key with plenty of places to sit and enjoy your treats. Don't waste your time at a Rita's. They don't care about you like these mom and pop shops do.

Great ice-cream with plenty of options from soft serve to hand dipped, milkshakes, smoothies, sundaes.. the ice-cream prices are reasonable and they definitely dish out large portions. Everything we have ordered from the ice-cream department definitely fulfilled our cravings and had been delish. They have food options as well, with plenty of options as well. The prices are a bit more on the pricey end. However, my hubby ordered the shrimp salad on salad and she made it fresh on the spot and he raved about it. The kids chicken nuggets was a hit and the chicken fingers were as well.
