We had the best server. Her name was Sharon I think. Very nice lady and very attentive. Even though she called my coworker a wuss...????
My husband and I went with another couple and their 1 1/2 year old. The waitress was friendly and took the time to speak to the baby. She brought the baby's fruit cup ahead of the meals as she was getting fussy and that was a big help. My husband and I ordered the steak and it was cooked perfectly and very good. All of the side dishes were good and everyone left feeling relaxed and contented.
Awesome. Everyone was very courteous and polite. Great atmosphere and food. Will definitely be back.
Service was great! Ordered the 'Good Morning Breakfast' of two eggs, grits, turkey sausage patties (2), tomato slices (3), and a fruit cup (seasonal). Was told repeatedly the eggs this Cracker Barrel serves are small-- admittedly this was hard to tell with two scrambled eggs or maybe I am not a good gauge on the amount of scrambled eggs two eggs should produce but the serving size seemed appropriate. Definitely not crazy about whatever brand of turkey sausage patties they served. They seemed a bit off-- sort of a weird rubber soy texture (?) and flavor. I miss the turkey bacon but this is my reason for four vs. five stars.
The food and service was great. As usually it was busy but we were seated quickly and our waitress was able to serve us within the hr timeframe we had. The only complaint I have is that the gravy is always brought out like warm so it looks super thick and gross. Other than that my food was good just need some salt and pepper. I had the steak and eyes with fried apples and grits and biscuits. I enjoyed everything except the grits and biscuits. My kids had the pancakes and they were amazing. They devoured 3 a piece.
