I stopped by here to check out something local and fresh. It is so nice to have a family friendly sit down restaurant down this way finally. If you want local owned and operated small business, this is it. They are on a soft opening right now. The menu will have more items, and the hours will be extended soon. The wait staff was very nice. Very attentive and helpful. We had 3 meals all three were great. The pot roast was soft and juicy. The broccoli was the only thing we did not like. The color was not appealing, and the taste was mushy. The cezar salad was fresh and crisp. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and scrambled eggs were the same. The shrimp were large and very tasty seasoned perfectly. The fries were excellent taste and quality. The mac and cheese was delicious. Got to meet the chief he was a very nice guy. I will be back to try the other menu items soon.
we came for the famous cheese biscuits and peach cobbler and struck out on both but, still ended up happy. the portions are large and priced right!! we had pot roast 5 star, mash potatoes 5 star no gravy available but we put the pot roast gravy on them. mac and cheese is 4 star, cole slaw was average, broccoli was seasoned and tasty the We also had a piece of fried catfish it was flaky and done to perfection although the batter was just a tad on the salty side. red beans and rice was not to our liking nor was the Apple cobbler, the dough was not crusty it was squishy and flavorless but, the apples had great flavor and consistency. The service was amazing. we had some unusual requests and our server made it happen. she was funny and friendly. We really enjoyed our meal and our server and will be back again!
My husband and I traveled from South Carolina and saw a review of Annie’s and decided to try it. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Ordered the catfish, pork chops, greens, Mac & cheese for lunch and everything was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Topped off our meal with warm peach cobbler a la mode and French vanilla coffee… so scrumptious! Coming back tomorrow for breakfast!
this is the Fish Dinner with 2 sides.
Mac N Cheese is nice and cheesy
Greens are good but a little too spicy
Fish could have been a little bit more crunch. For $16 another fish should be added instead of 1 Filet
But it was delivered hot and fresh
The service in the place reminds you of a true southern kitchen. The staff is very welcoming. The menu has a variety of food selections and did I mention breakfast all day🥰. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK.
