I always feel like am with family whenever l come here to eat. The food taste so much like my moms cooking. It does not cost me much here. The customer is a good one.

Great example of a Thurmont family-run small restaurant. The food has been exceptional every time I've been here which is about 10 times. Although I like breakfast there, their dinners are Splendid as well and their carryout chicken meal is excellent. Well run well priced everything is good. This is a Fine Place to put your money and get your money's worth, so I highly recommend it to anyone.

We've been going here frequently now over the past couple months when we take a ride. Small town flavor. It's nothing fancy, but the food is always delicious, perfect, and reasonably priced. The menu has some down-home interesting and unique selections and specials you rarely see anywhere else. And the wait staff is ALWAYS very nice and hospitable. No matter how busy, they always are welcoming. It is small inside so timing is everything. But they do their best to get everyone in and out, they're hopping.
Great selection of special desserts if you can fit it in, or take home. Pie slice was a bit pricey, but good and like no other. Good food, decent prices, excellent service, what more could you ask for?
