If you are looking for authentic Liberian food you have found the right place. This place has all the tastes. I love the rice and gravy, jollof rice, peanut butter soup, and the fried fish. I always like the kala for my kids(mostly me) but they almost never have it prepared. There is also times that I call and they don't even answer the phone. Very hard to get a hold of. One time I called 4x on a Saturday, no answer. Even went to the restaurant and knocked on the locked door that displayed the open sign, no answer. Other than that the food is great!

So far so good for African communities in Frederick and its environs. Great a tasty food covering several African countries
First visit after reading the reviews. The potato greens with rice wAs good. A hint if spicy but a good flavor spice. The plantains we're moist and good, not greasy. The restaurant was out of cabbage. It appears to be a small family business. 1 cashier, a few chairs and 4 tables. I don't think I would sit there to eat not cozy enough or enough room in my opinion. However, for take out the place is ideal. I plan to return to taste the cabbage along with a few main dishes and will rate again. Don't expect fast because I believe the food is cooked to order and worth the wait. It took about 25 minutes for my order. Prices are reasonable and the service b was with a smile. I'm happy to support a local restaurant with different cuisine which is most welcomed.
