But real talk, thank the glorious heavens for Thanksgiving carved turkey with the cranberry sauce mustard, spinach and cheddar cheese, toasted in herbs and cheese Italian bread. “This may be the first actual Creperie in Frederick. We ordered two smoothies and a turkey, avocado and cucumber crepe. The crepe was well prepared and flavorful. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, not soggy not too hard. The flavor mix was great and the avocado properly ripened. The smoothies were good, not as good as the crepe but still good. There is seating so you can sit down. The staff was very friendly. The place is located inside of Apple Valley Mall near Value City Furniture. We look forward to trying the other crepes.”

“From management, to the employees, to the food quality, I was very impressed. I've only eaten at this location a couple of times, but my experiences just keep improving. I placed an online order, and when I went to pick it up, they had no record of it. Turns out what I ordered was out, and the computer system was unable to reflect this. The young man who was helping me was extremely polite and apologetic. He got a manager, who was just as kind and willing to help. In no time at all, they got a new order put in, prepared, and I was on my way. This was also on an extremely busy Friday night. They made sure I was taken care of and made me feel treated as if I were a king. TL;DR - if you want some of the best service I have ever had with amazing food to match, choose the Frederick, MD BJ's restaurant. You will not be let down.”

“My favorite pizza joint. The beauty is in the simplicity of their Margherita pizza, but what I love the most is the consistency with which they have been preparing it. I had an issue once which I reported, and it was promptly taken care of and never since. Now that's customer service. The Valentine's Day weekend prime rib special was superb, deftly roasted to medium-rare/medium, and generously sliced. “This was my first visit but I had such a fantastic time. We came for karaoke and had an absolutely incredible time. Typical homey bar atmosphere. A very friendly bouncer who watched out for our stuff when we were singing. The only mild complaint is that the mixed drinks were weak, though they tasted great. We drove a long distance to find karaoke and are very glad to have ended up here.”

“Manalu was the culinary highlight of my Frederick visit this last December. It wasn't perfect, so let's get the bad stuff out of the way up front. The hostess was not friendly at all. They have veal on the menu, last I checked we had emerged from the Dark Ages. The Philly cheese steak had lettuce on it, again, not the dark ages. Now the good stuff. Our waiter was great. The food was the best I had in my two week stay in Frederick, truly delicious (except the Philly). The wine list was good and the mixed drinks satisfied. I will return.”
