Mr. Y's Pizza N Fries

We were on a motorcycle trip through Maryland and stopped here for lunch. Excellent food. I had a calzone the size of Texas. Ate the whole thing. I also had a canoli. Great people who accommodated our group and got our orders in and out quickly. Excellent food. Did I say that already?

Very busy place when we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. No seating onsite (other than a few picnic tables outside). With fries in the name I was hoping for fresh cut, or something more than your standard fries. But being a take-out and delivery only kind of place, I think fresh cut fries would probably get too soggy, so that is fair. I ordered an Italian sub. The guy asked if that was all I wanted in it. I think I said “I guess so”. Not realizing that it was only going to be meat and cheese with no lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, salt, pepper, oil, etc. that was my fault, but after eating subs 100’s of times in my life this was the only time this had happened, and it was a surprise to me, so somehow we did not communicate too well. I ate half right away cause I was hungry, and took the other half home to add the items that would make it a decent sub. It’s a busy place so they must be doing something right! I saw some boli’s come out when I was there, and they looked epic.

Great pizza and subs. My buddy introduced me to this place which I was surprised to never have gone there being that they are very close to my house, but since my first trip about a year ago I have been back many times and they never disappoint. Definitely give them a shot if you have not gone.

A great local pizza and more shop! 5/5 stars for the best pizza in Northern Harford County, MD if not the entire state! Their Maryland Crab, and Cream of Crab soup also comes highly recommended. We have been ordering from Mr.Ys for quite some time and haven't had a bad experience to-date.
