Blue Crab House

If you want consistently great crabs look no further The Blue Crab House WILL take care of you!!! Every single crab all year long has been fantastic!!!

We are building a house in Pylesville Md and love this place. Their crabs are full and the crab cakes, crab soup and steamed corn are delicious! Better than what we have been getting in Parkville, where we currently live.

Since we were introduced through the blue crab house we mostly go there to get our steamed crabs and other things soft shell crab crab cakes we have tried as well or very good and they're always very courteous about if there were a few light crabs in your bag they make up for the next time you get there.

I've tried most things here. The MD crab soup is ok but their cream of crab is awesome!!! The crabcrakes are smallish but excellent! The coleslaw is old fashioned with too many celery seeds for my taste. The macaroni salad with shrimp is too dry and too heavy on onions. The shrimp salad is very good. The steamed shrimp are very good and their homemade cocktail sauce is amazing. The steamed crabs are seasoned great but overpriced for the size. The service is very friendly.

Had the crabs during a collaboration event with Falling Branch Brewery. We ordered 4 dozen medium crabs, cole slaw, shrimp pasta salad, French fries, and corn. The crabs were all very full and well seasoned. They may have been on the small side but all were heavy. The cole slaw was very good, a little sweet but we all enjoyed it. The corn was good. The fries were great and a huge portion. the only negative was the shrimp pasta salad was a little dry. It needed some more dressing to bring it together. Over all we enjoyed our crabs and hope to be back again.
