They put a taqueria on the stream; it was quite a scene.... La Palapa has a nice ambiance inside. It's pretty big, but kinda feels chopped up into smaller, cozier rooms. The food is pretty tasty. The salsa is really good. Good, fun, casual-but-slightly-upscale, family friendly joint.
High quality Mexican food. Always a great atmosphere and the servers are exceptional. Salsa nights and a great spot for that old Ellicott City night life!
I love the fajitas and skirt steak. Service so good I almost got full off of chips, salsa and water!... But luckily I didn't and the food was great. Definitely family friendly...
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the entire Baltimore Washington area. An excellent place to take a family, a loved one, or even a large group. The food is delicious. The service is exceptional. The prices are very fair and comparable for the area. Drink specials and happy hour too. Live music and DJ events. Warm and inviting. Cozy and charming. Has a bar area with large sports TV's and a healthy beer, liquor, and wine selection. I highly recommend this place. Located in the heart of old Ellicott City, MD.
I met up with an old friend for drinks and lite fare recently. We sat at a small bar that seated maybe 5-6 people max. It was a rainy Friday night and there was no other place I'd rather be. We had chips with a blend of three cheeses and some great wine. The service was great and in the background a singer and guitarist were walking around. We loved it and will be back.
